Information We Collect
- Email address — used to create your account and send login links.
- Images you submit — processed in real time to generate prompts. Images are not stored on our servers.
- Usage data — we track how many prompts you've generated to enforce plan limits.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the PromptGrab service
- To send you login links via email
- To manage your subscription and billing through Stripe
- To enforce free plan usage limits
Data Storage
Your account data (email, plan status, usage count) is stored securely on our servers. Images you upload are sent directly to the AI model for processing and are not retained.
Browser Extension
The PromptGrab browser extension stores your authentication token locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. This token is never shared with third parties. Images processed through the extension are sent to our server solely to generate prompts and are not stored.
Third-Party Services
- Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
- Anthropic Claude — AI model used to analyze images and generate prompts
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g., payment processing) or as required by law.
Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at hello@promptgrab.app.
Cookies
PromptGrab does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage solely to keep you signed in.
